Las Vegas Legend Frank Marino to Get Married

aweeeee! Frank Marino gets hitched!

Las Vegas Sun reports:

The iconic “Divas Las Vegas” headliner
was about to close his show at The Quad Showroom when the music stopped
and the suspense started. Draped in the dripping-with-rhinestones gown
and blond wig he typically favors to close the famous drag review,
Marino stood stunned as his production was interrupted by his partner in a
tuxedo gripping a microphone and a small box. Alex Schechter propsed and Frank accepted!

The guys have been together 20 years! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Jarrett & Raja follow in Siegfried & Roy’s footsteps in Las Vegas

A new Siegfried and Roy? Pretty darn close!

Jarrett & Raja always dreamed of following in the
footsteps of their idols Siegfried & Roy, but now, after years of
touring and overseas shows, they also are starring in the new “America’s
Got Talent Live” at Palazzo — allowing them to live and work at home.

Raja tells Las Vegas Sun: “The timing is so right to have that kind of a magic
show again. We have always had Siegfried & Roy as inspirations, not
just magically but artistically, their attention to detail. We are also
very detailed guys, very specific about what we want.

you see onstage, from the magic props to the costumes to the originally
composed music, the arranged music, everything you see, we go through
with a fine-tooth comb. We really have used the guys for now 10 years as
a source of inspiration after getting to know them back in 2003.:

“Americas Got Talent  Live” is at Palazzo nightly through April 14

Las Vegas Aids Walk April 14, 2013

Aid for AIDS of Nevada has led the AIDS Walk for over twenty years. Individual Walkers and Walk Team numbers have grown significantly, sponsorships by local businesses and organizations continue to increase, and public awareness rises with every walk.

Last year, more than 9,000 people walked
raising over $450,000. Over 250 corporate and community teams raised 70%
of the total funds collected. Teams represent some of the leading
corporations and organizations in Southern Nevada including Walgreens, Nordstroms, Citi Group, M.A.C Cosmetics, UNLV, Wells Fargo, Penn & Teller and many more.

Today there is newfound hope in the fight against AIDS – but still no
cure. Some people with HIV/AIDS are living longer thanks to new
therapies. Tragically, the new treatments do not work for everyone, and
HIV continues to spread at an alarming rate.

We will walk until that point in time, when AFAN is no longer effective, our services no longer needed and our purpose no longer essential to the solution.
