Caesars Octavius Tower Moves Full Speed Ahead

It’s funny, in 2008-2009, many projects were put on hold or canceled in Las Vegas. Or at least it appeared that way. Some projects inched their way forward anyways, despite the economy!

CityCenter, which includes Vdara, ARIA and Mandarin Oriental, slowed down a bit in 2009-2010, but still moved forward.

Cosmopolitan opened.
M Resort opened.
Rumor Boutique Hotel opened.

And Caesars have announced that come January, they will be hiring 450+ people.

They began  taking  reservations for their new  600+ room tower a couple months back.

 The
Octavius Tower, named after the given name of the Emperor Caesar
Augustus, keeps with the Roman theme with elegant, austere marble floors
made warm and inviting by extensive traditionally patterned carpets.

Completion of the addition to Caesars was put on hold more than a year ago as the company waited for
what it imagined would be the right time to make more rooms available.

The exterior and lower level public areas were completed so that most people would never know there was
nothing happening on the upper levels.
